Lauren Graham was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Donna Grant and Lawrence Graham a lobbyist from the candy industry. Lauren Graham is of Irish, English and Scottish descendance. Her mother was born in The American South and her father comes from New York. Her parents came of Northern Virginia, USA. They live in Fairfax, Arlington, Great Falls, VA. She graduated from Southern Methodist University with a Master's degree in acting. She was the sole caregiver for her father. At the age of five and her parents separated. She wanted to become an athlete as a kid but because of her height it was not an option. During her childhood the family traveled extensively together with father, and was able to perform in the elementary school. Theatre, film and TV are all on her list of jobs.
