JacobRolf Jacob Sartorius was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma. His parents were unable to help him after his birth so he was adopted , and then moved to Virginia. He was brought up within Reston, Virginia by his adoptive parents and at age seven, he started performing in musicals. It was there that was he discovered his passion for the stage. Vine is an American video-hosting service that offered brief-form videos. In the year 2017, Sartorius' lip-syncing videos have been watched by more than eight million people. Social media provided him with an escape after he was targeted and eventually turned into the victim. He once said that he wasn't the most outgoing person before Musical.ly. He was convinced that no one was watching him , except for the camera.
